Everything Is Better With Friends!

Yesterday was an awesome day! Not only did I wear a dress to work that hadn't fit for two years, but then a friend and her mom saw me at a local store and showered me with loving compliments about how great I was looking! I was over the moon; my hard work is starting to be noticeable! Fabulous! So thankful for the supportive people in my life!

But then it got even better! (How, right? Because the awesome-bar was set pretty high...) My new friend and neighbor Ashley had suggested we head out for a bike ride since her plans had changed. Sign! Me! Up!

I have never biked with anyone other than Nate or Cole before, so I was pretty pumped! And I'm happy to report that it was 7.3 of the best miles I've put in in awhile! I had someone to talk to, laugh with, and who could help me silence the aches and pains I may or may not have had. (I don't think I did, but I was happily distracted, so I dont know for sure...)

Ashley was a rockstar too! I'm peddling away on my road bike and that poor thing was on her mountain bike--- but she was stronger than most men on the road! Thoroughly impressed! That girl is a force to be reckoned with!

It was a great day. Great, great, great day... As I mentioned, we did 7.3 slightly hilly miles in under 40 minutes. It was beautiful at sunset along the river too!

Have a great day! Tune in tomorrow for my wrap up of todays 22.5 mile hilly  heartbreaker ride! (It was awesome, but Mama is tired....)

It sounds like you had a wonderful day! Congratulations on the dress fitting. I really think fitting into old clothes is almost more exciting than shopping for new ones!

Have a wonderful weekend.
