Baby Got....Bike?

How do you know it's a great workout? When you finish up and you look like you just jumped out of the shower...

"Sweat! Wet! Got me goin' like a turbo vette!" (You're welcome.)

Our ride last night took us out on 20.8 miles of familiar terrain. The roads I choose were relatively flat, as my knee was achy after work yesterday. (I stand all day at my new job, so I think that's contributing to my issues.) It was a beautiful ride and felt SO good!

Highlights of the ride:

At one point, we even rode up next to a flock of sandhill cranes. They took off OVER our heads just feet away! It was AMAZING!

We almost got bit by a dog. The little b@stard chased us for half a mile and ALMOST got my foot---but I was too speedy.

Here are the stats and such:

And guess what? I hit another PR! I had never held over 14 mph on an over 10 mile ride, but I have now! :)

Have a great day! Off to work...
